What a wild couple of years it’s been for the creator economy. It feels like we’ve all been in an "It's complicated" relationship status with the platforms, tools, and algorithms we rely on. Between TikTok’s looming ban and unban, shifting ownership of major social platforms, massive algorithm changes for engines and machines that support our world, and debates about data privacy and AI training, the landscape has been… well, chaotic. It has created a perpetual need for us to change, evolve, and grow along with it. Often, it can be much harder than we expect to make those changes. Things often have to get as bad as they can get for us to realize that it's time for a big change. The greatest points of change often come at the highest point of tension. i.e “Pressure makes diamonds” or “It’s gonna get worse before it gets better.” I believe strongly that the most important state to reach to claim “future-proof” status or to safely assume you’re participating in an infinite game, is a state of conviction in what you’re doing. Feeling that what you’re doing is WORTH doing. People have been asking me what I'm going to do in the wake of the changes in the creator economy and clients keep looking for new secrets (yes, there are a few), but the truth is, for me, little has changed. The Game Has Changed But the Goal Hasn'tTruth be told, Create and Go has been adapting rather poorly in the last couple of years. We take full responsibility for that. With the exit of one owner, the introduction of another, and now the exit of another with a full rebrand and product launch, our strategic planning and frankly, our thoughts, have been in freefall for a while now. But one thing became very clear to me... It was important that Create and Go stop doing what everyone else was doing. It worked for us for a long time because we set the pace and I'm so proud of everyone who has found success from our strategies over the years. But as the creator economy has become SO exhausting, I knew it was time for a HARD PIVOT. Every creator on YouTube. Every blogger. Every podcast. It started to feel like everything was the same. AI content tools have only thrown gasoline on the fire. The hustle that used to breathe life into us suddenly has felt soul-crushing. I knew something had to give. But not everything. One thing remains constant for me. I’m going to keep aiming to make the best tools and resources I can for helping others reach that warm, gratifying, feel-it-in-your-chest kind of success. I’m going to keep trying to help my family, friends, clients, and all of you reach your “I made it" moments. I’m going to keep trying to cultivate a mindset of unreasonable hospitality, innovation, and passion for solving problems for my audience every day and I hope this becomes incredibly clear in our relaunch. A Focus on Implementation Rather Than InformationThere are a million videos, a billion articles, and soon-to-be what feels like a trillion ways to do anything these days. It’s enough to make anyone question their path as a creator. But amidst all this craziness, there is always clarity if you just look properly. Over the past year, I became obsessed with building something different—a tool that focused on implementation and no longer just shared information—something that puts creators back in control. A tool that helps you implement systems and processes that empower you and give you a sense of stability and ownership. A system that makes using new AI technologies, these ever-changing and growing platforms, and the tools around them to grow your businesses easier all while maintaining ownership and agency over all that you create. Inspired by people like Stephen Ango and his philosophies on self-guaranteeing promises and his writing on always learning, always teaching, I set out to rethink what tools for creators could be. The Vision for Our Next Product: CreatorOS (still a tentative name)Imagine a tool where everything you create—your notes, tasks, content, and even products—lives safely in one place. Private. Secure. Yours. A true home base for creators that doesn’t just store your ideas but helps you turn them into action. I'm not just talking about a storage database like Notion. I'm talking about something focused on real movement and action. This goes beyond using tools like ChatGPT where you’re just throwing it another LLM query—It's something deeper, something personal. I wanted to design a system that would make it convenient, fun, and valuable to document things and experiences, express yourself, solve problems, and more. My vision for the new product for Create and Go was to make a system that would make running a business and being a creator as easy and efficient as possible. But we won't get too far down that road because a product sneak peek is coming. I wanted to talk about something else... one of my ultimate visions for this product when I started it was: “What if I could take my journals, my book notes, my morning pages, my podcast notes, my work on SEO, consulting, systems, and any other things I write, create, or do and was able to just generate content from that.” To me, it seemed like the solution to the exhaustion that I and many other creators were experiencing from social media and trying to format our work to make it “work for the algorithm”. I envisioned a space where I could use my private notes in CreatorOS to generate from a handcrafted template for whatever format I needed:
The requirements were that it had to be easy and feel natural as a user, in my voice, my information, with no hallucinations (or at the very least warnings of them). I had to own the content, and I had to be able to create any amount of content I wanted. While the vast majority of creators would be flooding the internet with BS, repetitive, soulless, regurgitated AI content, I would be able to work on content that was genuine, accurate, and built from MY expertise and knowledge—in a faster and easier way than my competitors. This felt daunting at first, especially without developers, but my obsession with systems paid off, and I dove in headfirst. Sneak Peak at CreatorOS(I'm actually not 100% set on the name yet but that's what I'm calling it right now—if you have any suggestions, send them my way). This is truly one of the proudest moments of my career, and I'm ready to share a very small sneak preview with you because it also helps set some dates for getting it launched to you as soon as possible. Keep in mind that this (GIF below) is my private version with my own colors, styling, and some experimental features so this isn't what the final version will look like. So what's happening below?
I still need to work on some of the formatting and optimization (and an outline is just the start of the possible commands), but it even includes a foldable callout box so you can keep your writing separate from the AI! (This is a feature I wanted because writing matters a lot to me and I don’t ever want to depend solely on my AI or have its writing mixed in as mine) Sidenote: I'm also super grateful to many of the folks in the Obsidian community who have given me feedback and helped me continuously tweak this product to make it as amazing as possible for my audience! I'd also like to add the functionality to send a draft directly to WordPress, but that will be in a later update. Version 1.0 will come with the ability to generate from your notes a few blog post styles, basic YouTube scripts, and other helpful templates from our existing courses (which will also be moving to a brand new platform as we roll out CreatorOS. We will be adding new templates and prompts all the time and the community will serve as a place for us to all share systems and workflows). My favorite integration is the ability to generate graphics right in the system itself due to Napkin AI (soon to come will be more styles of graphics with your AI model integration as well as a later release for generating video once stability is shown in that feature with one of our integration partners). OKAY. NO MORE SNEAK PEEKS. For now... Y'all, we have a lot to launch in the coming weeks.
I'm working on some final tweaks to all of the above and getting everything ready to launch in just 5-10 weeks (max). I'm SO PSYCHED for these changes and to help you create better content, more accurate content, more helpful content, and with the help of this tool hopefully even FASTER than even the big media companies can! We’re going to have a fun year. I can feel it. The "I Made It Moment"I wanted to share with you a sneak peek of the features I'm so excited about with our product today as as little piece of one of my "I made it" moments because sharing these moments is going to be a big theme in the business moving forward. These moments don't have to be "I'm a successful 6-figure business owner." They can simply be:
These moments are special and we need to celebrate them. So I ask you this, if you have a moment, will you reply to me and share that "I made it" moment? Or you can share what that moment might be if you're working on achieving it right now. This whole journey for me has been one long “I made it” moment. From buying the company I worked at for many years that gave me my financial freedom, to navigating extreme challenges and difficulty — even doing and studying things I never expected like learning about AI and code for this product, building prompts, working with APIs, and designing and building a system and tool I truly love. But I want to know now, what’s one of YOUR "I made it" moments? P.S. What's Next: We're putting the finishing touches on CreatorOS, integrating our new C-R-E-A-T-E framework into it and the website, and getting all of the last few details fleshed out and ready for launch. Expect exciting discounts, bonuses, templates, and new workshops coming your way soon! And I just wanted to give a big shoutout to all of you who have been on this journey with us—some of you for almost a decade now. You’re not just customers—you’re family. Let’s make 2025 the year of your “I made it” moments. |

Let’s talk about that moment in the creator's journey that feels... kinda embarrassing. That “WTF am I doing with my content” stage. You know — the part where you’re writing blog posts, staying busy, publishing stuff, maybe even getting some traffic, but deep down it feels like you’re aimlessly throwing content at the wall and praying something sticks. Two creators in our group said it perfectly: “I started making content but I feel like I have no sense of direction in the monetization of my...
Hey there! Over the last couple of weeks, I've been sharing a couple of discoveries of unexpected benefits of the new product that I'm working on for our audience, CreatorOS. I've talked about... Creating solutions (rather than products), how a lack of awareness does NOT mean a lack of commitment, and how to rethink about the work that you cannot see (and therefore the progress you are making). Today, I want to share my third and final discovery with you! Before I share that discovery, here...
Hey there! Last week, I shared one of my favorite discovery moments and unexpected benefits from using this new product that I'm about to launch! In case you aren't up to speed, I'm working on an AI data automation and project management tool just for creators. As I stated before: My vision for the new product for Create and Go was to make a system that would make running a business and being a creator as easy and efficient as possible. This new product is almost finished, so I'm just sharing...
