[NEW] Behind the scenes

Accountability goes both ways.

Two weeks ago. I’m scrolling through the Community, doing my Monday accountability check-ins with everyone. You know, being the good old community leader I’m supposed to be. Asking how their goals are going. Cheering people on. Feeling pretty good about myself.

Then Pam drops this comment:

“Speaking of accountability, where are those behind-the-scenes videos you promised us?”

BAM.

SHE GOT ME.

She was right. I’d been so busy holding everyone ELSE accountable that I’d completely dropped the ball on the behind the scenes video and doing a new business from scratch as promised.

Classic, right?

It made me laugh at myself. There isn’t much else you can do.

This was exactly why I created the community in the first place.

Not because I had it all figured out. But because I needed it just as much as everyone else.

When Pam called me out, something clicked.

I realized I’d been living the exact same overwhelm that my customers face every day. Here I was, juggling Create & Go's rebrand, building the app, managing CreateOS' beta, managing the community, dealing with deaths and family stress. All while feeling like everything was spinning out of control.

I realized: this is what y’all feel like.

This is what ANYTHING new feels like. This is what all of my customers feel like. You’re overwhelmed and stressed. Some of you have children. Some of you have health issues. Some of you have family things going on. We all have lives with things happening that make it feel like everything’s out of control.

So I finally did what I should have done a month ago: I hit record.

The first behind-the-scenes video is ready. And let me tell you what you can expect:

This isn’t going to be polished YouTube content. This is the real deal, the good, the bad, and the messy middle of building something from scratch while juggling everything else life throws at you.

You’ll see:

  • How I use CreateOS in my actual daily workflow (not just tutorials)
  • My AI workforce setup with different personas for different business tasks
  • The automations I use with Slack, Cursor, and Personal AI to run everything
  • How I’m building my new business “Busy Living Better” from zero
  • The exact brain dump process that helps me get everything out of my head

Most importantly, you’ll see me struggle with the same things you do.

The overwhelm, the scattered attention, the feeling like there’s never enough time to do everything you want to do.

What’s Coming Monday (And Why It Matters)

Monday’s video is going to be special. I’m launching a brand new website, posting the first video on that brand new channel, and starting a brand completely from scratch so I can continue to put myself in your shoes and make the things you need.

I won't ask you to do anything I'm not doing.

I had to put this new business idea on the back burner for months to focus on customers and one on ones while implementing feedback into CreateOS and redoing the lessons for it. But just like I said last week, I’ll never get time, I had to make time.

In the coming weeks I’m going to show you how to build something meaningful even when life is chaotic. How to use your notes and systems to make progress on what matters most, even when everything else is demanding your attention.

We’re going to start with a single note called “Brain Dump” on Monday. This is the exercise that gets everything out of your head and onto a note where you can actually work with it.

The Real Secret About Accountability

Traditional accountability is broken. It’s all one-way. Someone holds YOU accountable, but they’re somehow immune to the same struggles.

But real accountability? Real accountability goes both ways.

When Pam called me out the other, she wasn’t being mean. She was doing what real community members do: they care enough to hold each other accountable.

Including the person running the show.

The community Club works because:

  • I show up for you when you want to quit
  • You show up for me when I want to quit
  • We show up for each other when resistance hits
  • Nobody pretends to be perfect
  • Everyone admits they need help

That’s the secret sauce. Mutual vulnerability. Mutual support. Mutual accountability.

What This Really Means For You

Every day I show up and use these tools, my notes, my personal AI trained on my vault, Cursor for coding, automations for scaling. I’m leveraging all this stuff to build my businesses.

And I realized: I’m being selfish keeping this behind the scenes.

This is what community members keep asking for. Tutorials, walkthroughs, real examples of how this stuff works in practice.

So over the next 90 days, I’m pulling back the curtain completely.

In the community I'll be showing:

How to use CreateOS from scratch - Starting with a brand new vault, building it up note by note, system by system.

How to build a business from zero - Busy Living Better will be my test case, and you’ll see every decision, every mistake, every breakthrough.

How to create shared rhythm and more support - Because finishing things alone is hard, but finishing things together is inevitable.

Many of the videos will be 25-30 minutes each, sometimes longer when I’m doing tutorials. Raw, unpolished, real. The gems that come from doing this work every day.

Your Next Step (If You’re Ready)

If you want to follow along with Monday’s video, here’s what I recommend:

Get a voice memo app ready. Apple has one built in, or use something like SuperWhisper. Find a way to record without having to type the whole. Most computers and phones have dictation. But typing or writing will do as well.

In this first video I'll ask you to tit somewhere comfortable and think about everything you want:

  • The businesses you wanted to start
  • The projects you wanted to finish
  • The house you want to live in
  • The life you want to build

Think of your brain like a sponge.

It’s full of ideas, dreams, plans, worries, all this stuff floating around taking up mental space.

Monday, we’re going to squeeze that sponge. Get it all out. Make it visible. Turn those thoughts into data you can actually work with.

Your brain is for having ideas, not storing them.

The Question Only You Can Answer

So here’s what I’m curious about:

What’s the one thing you keep starting but never finishing?

The thing that, if you actually completed it, would change everything?

Is it a business? A book? A course? A creative project? A difficult conversation?

What’s stopping you from finishing it?

If I had to guess, it’s not lack of information. It’s not lack of motivation. It’s not even lack of time.

It’s the fact that you’re trying to do it alone.

How We Can Help Each Other

If you’re tired of the cycle. Tired of starting over. Tired of breaking promises to yourself.

Join us in the Community.

It’s not just a community. It’s accountability that goes both ways. It’s a place where struggle is normalized and success is inevitable.

It’s not another course. It's what makes courses actually work.

It's implementation, not information.

And starting Monday, you’ll see exactly how I use these same principles to build something from scratch while juggling everything else.

One More Thing

To Pam (and everyone else brave enough to call me out when I need it):

Thank you.

That’s what real accountability looks like.

Below is the introduction video explaining what is to come. If you're in the community already you've probably already seen this under classroom > BEHIND THE SCENES. I wanted to share this for non-community members as well. That way everyone can see what's coming and won't miss out if you haven't already joined.

The community is only going to get better.

P.S. Monday’s video starts with a brain dump that will change how you think about your notes forever. Don’t miss it.

Forward this to someone who needs to hear it. Sometimes we all need someone brave enough to call us out.

The video for y'all this week is something that was equal parts therapeutic and terrifying. It’s a video about my 10 biggest mistakes as a creator, not the cute, humble-brag ones everyone shares, but the real ones. The expensive ones. The ones that made me question whether I was cut out for this at all. My cat Myra joins the video around two minutes in. She CANNOT help herself. She stays for most of the video, I rolled with it. 😂 Anyways. I’ve been seeking that elusive feeling of “making it”...

The gym with no mirrors (and why you’re quitting too early) I was at the gym and something hit me hard. A year ago, I was in this exact same place, tired and desperate, working on a business I’d just bought with no idea what I was doing, I didn’t have the body I wanted, the life I wanted, and I damn sure didn’t feel like the person I wanted to be. Today, I’m back in that same gym and although it FEELS like I’m starting the fitness journey over, everything has changed. I have amazing...

Today sucked. Have you ever had one of those days? The kind that starts wrong and keeps getting worse? For me, it began with terrible sleep. Weird dreams. The kind where you wake up more tired than when you went to bed. “It’s okay,” I told myself at 9:30 AM (hours past when I should have gotten up). “It’ll still be a good day.” I was lying to myself. Today was special. Not good special. The dangerous kind of special. It was what Jon Acuff in his book “Finish” calls: “The Day After Perfect.”...
